Hello everyone,
Super important announcement time! I know I’ve not updated for a while which is because I have been moving house, but more importantly creating a whole new shopping service and website! It will run the same way as Tokyo Pirates at first (email and Paypal), but I am working with a partner and we have a lot of plans to make the whole shopping process smoother and easier for you in the future. We will be working to get credit card payments up as soon as we can too. It will take time, but I hope you’ll be patient with us!
So, from 25th February 2016, Tokyo Pirates shopping service will be closing permanently. In its place, Accio Tokyo will be opening, and you can visit the website at http://www.acciotokyo.com from that date.
For those of you that have shopped with me before, the main changes will be as follows:
1) Everything will be on a central website.
I’ve been using blogs, facebook and tumblr until now, and it has often confused people as they don’t quite know where to check. Now everything will be at acciotokyo.com where you can go for updates including latest sales, popular items in Tokyo, and just awesome things we see around the shops. Our plan is to try and bring Tokyo to you as much as possible (specializing in fashion and accessories, but ready to shop for anything)!
2) Paypal fees will no longer be charged
We have adjusted commission to include all fees, so no Paypal fees will be charged for payment. This includes the shipping invoice. We will be taking that cost on ourselves. You will know all costs up front excluding shipping costs, so that there will be no nasty surprises.
3) There are now two of us working for you, which means faster answers to emails, and faster service.
4) Travel fees will be 600 yen.
I have moved house and I will no longer be the only shopper.
5) Auction services and orders through apps such as Mercari, Fril, etc. will stop.
We will only be able to accept online and in-store orders. We may consider auctions for the future, but for now I’m afraid it is too difficult logistically.

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has shopped with me! It’s been so much fun, and an absolute pleasure to shop for everyone. It’s been a learning process too, and certainly a lot of hard work, but I’ve loved doing it. It’s my dream to make shopping as smooth as a dream for you all, and that’s what I’ll be working towards. I attended AP’s special set release today for a customer wanting the pink. Unfortunately, there were well over 100 people there, and the pink sold out. However, after waiting around so long, I couldn’t resist picking up the infamous yellow colourway for anyone that may want it. In my opinion, it’s not quite as bright as AP’s photoshop makes out, but rather a mustard yellow.

Thank you all for your patience during the hiatus. I got back on the 14th and things have been up and running as normal since then.
Quick announcement that auctions have been reduced to 2,000 yen per auction. This is a flat fee regardless of the auction price, and I can also take orders for the fril and mercari apps.
Also, a quick reminder that I will be accepting lucky pack order from the 25th November 10am JST (lucky packs that have not already been released that is, e.g. Liz Lisa, Angelic Pretty, etc.). Any orders made before then, even a few seconds before cannot be accepted. I am also going to be able to attend the La Foret New Year’s sale after all, so I can try to get lucky packs for people then if they want them.

Hello! Sorry for the last-minute notice, but unfortunately due to a personal emergency, the shopping service will have to close from 29th - 14th November. I will not be in Japan during that time. I’m sorry that I’ve been radio silent for so long! In between moving house and working, I haven’t had much time to update. (>.<) However, I have a few important announcements.
1) The shopping service renewal/relaunch has been postponed until January. The date is as yet undetermined. Until then, everything will be continuing as before, so all services still stand.
2) Auction orders will be accepted again. However, due to the time they take, commission will be a flat rate of 2,500 yen per auction. This is regardless of the price of your item, so even if it’s over 100,000 yen, commission will remain the same. :) I will not be able to take snipe orders at this time - regular bids only, sorry! I am busy right now, and do not wish to risk losing your items due to my schedule. Please be aware that if I get too busy, I may have to suspend auction orders again. If so, I will make an announcement via tumblr, the blog and facebook.
3) Lucky Pack 2015/2016 orders will be accepted from November 25th, 2015 at 10am (Japan Standard Time). Reservations before that exact time will not be accepted. After that time it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. I will have two slots available for the Liz Lisa suitcases. Unfortunately, I cannot take orders for the Angelic Pretty lucky pack release on the 1st January (if they are released on that date), but I will be able to get them after the initial release if they have not sold out.

Hello everyone! :) The shopping service is still on hiatus I’m afraid, but we are working to get it up by the end of the summer new and improved, so thank you for your patience!
I’m actually making this post at the request of a friend who has a Dreamy Planetarium OP in navy. She managed to get her first choice in colour, so is wanting to sell the navy. The price would be 29,730 yen excluding shipping to you, in order to cover the original cost of the OP, shipping (she bought it online) and the Paypal fee. The only remaining cost would be shipping to the buyer. If anyone is interested or you know anyone who is interested please feel free to send me a message here or to contact@tokyopirates.com
If no one wants it, it will be put on Yahoo Auctions. :)

The shopping service will temporarily close from 20th April-1st August. 20th April is the deadline for last orders (in-store orders only). All going well we will be opening again from 1st August, and back to operating full-time including doing online orders. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I hope to be back working full time and with a more efficient and better service for you after the summer! <3

I’m sorry that I haven’t updated the blogs and such at all recently. The shopping service is still running. However, from 1st April, I’m afraid the online service will be stopping. My friend will be leaving Japan which means she can no longer take care of online orders, and unfortunately, I don’t have the time for both online and in-store anymore. (T_T)
In-store shopping will still be available. (^__^)

This is just a quick note to let everyone know that online orders will still be accepted throughout the hiatus. :) In-store orders only will be unavailable. Thank you!

The Tokyo Pirates Shopping Service will be unable to accept anymore orders from now (29th December) until the 30th January. Current orders and lucky pack orders will still be processed as usual.
