I will be using a new website for wishlists! Now anyone and everyone can make wishlists for free!
Just upload the items you want to the website and title the album “Lolita Wishlist”. Don’t forget to add the brand name (e.g. Angelic Pretty) and the name of the item (e.g. Musee du Chocolat One Piece in green). You can title it as whatever you like, but the more information you put, the more it gives me to go on when I’m out shopping. If I see anything you have on your wishlist in store, I’ll contact you to let you know (if more than one person has it, it will be first come, first served).

It’s a place where you can also display your own collections, see other people’s collections, favourite other people’s items and potentially use for trading/selling. You’ll be able to see how many people want what you have which is pretty useful for closet cleaning. ;) You’ll also be able to describe/give reviews on your own items which will be helpful for others (similar to lolibrary but with more emphasis on you and your personal collection).
In short, I think this will be an excellent website for far more than wishlists and we should get the lolita community on here. (^_^) It’s not limited to lolitas of course! It can be used for anything you collect/want to collect - music, anime, fashion goods, specialist foods, etc.
It totally depends on the company and can vary a lot from 1 or 2 days to 2 weeks (even longer for some), but the average is around one week.
Hmm, I’m not entirely sure since everyone is different. Many appear to be very brand loyal, but some may use Bodyline for the odd accessory or wig. As for what they think, I couldn’t really say. :) My guess is there will be those who hate it and those who aren’t that bothered.

Hello ^^ My official operating hours are from 9am - 7pm. However, my actual operating hours are usually from 9am - 11pm (until 1am during busy periods, or 24 hours during extremely busy periods - yes I die for a couple of days when this happens)
Answering emails depends on the day and what assignments I have. The morning will be admin (packaging orders, answering the most urgent emails, making phone calls to stores, etc.) Urgent in-store assignments mean I go in for store opening time. If there are no urgent assignments I will continue with most urgent emails until the afternoon (around 2pm), and then go out on any regular assignments or to the post office for bank transfers/urgent shipments.
I usually finish in-store assignments between 5-9pm depending on how many areas I need to go to. After that I continue answering emails/doing admin until 10pm - 1am depending on how many there are/how urgent they are. On days I have no in-store assignments I work until around 9pm.
Sorry that there’s no set hours for emails. >.< It really depends on how many there are. Yours is the last message I’m answering tonight, but I’ll be working until about 12am if anyone needs anything urgently. ^^
On another note, I’m hiring someone to help me shop soon as a beta test, so hopefully that means I can dedicate more time to answering emails and dealing with time-sensitive assignments. :)

Haha, some of the outfits have so many layers it feels like armour at times. ;) If I know it’s going to be bad though (e.g. CC), I go in the clothes that can take a beating. No point in risking my preciouses!
Ack, it’s really hard to say. I reckon sometimes it will change depending on what they expect the customer demand to be. However, at a guess, I’d say each store carries about 15 - 25 of one cut/colour at initial release. Usually, if you’re not in the top 20 you can pretty much kiss chances of getting the most popular item goodbye.
Online I have absolutely no idea.

Hmm, let’s see. There will be a special appearance and presentation by the designer of Triple Fortune at Marui One Annex in Shinjuku on the 25th from 1pm. You can reserve some gorgeous items in advance (check out the Triple Fortune twitter for more info on the clothes).
There will also be a musical/opera by THEATER Rrose Sélavy. I don’t know much about them myself, but you need to buy tickets in advance. Info is here - http://www.rrose-selavy.net/
At Marui One Annex they also do shoots for the Kera magazine every month. I don’t know the exact dates this time round, but if you talk to the staff you can find out. On that date/time, simply show up in a gorgeous lolita coord, fill in a form and pose for the camera (it’s usually on the 6th floor). If you are chosen, your photo will be published in Kera magazine. Even if you’re not chosen, you’ll receive a ticket and can get your printed photo around one month later for free I think. If you have a friend in Japan or want to use a service, they should be able to pick it up for you. :)
Oh, there’s also currently a 70% off sale at Closet Child, but that’s mainly for their stuff that isn’t selling well.
Alice and the Pirates is doing a novelty giveaway of a cute usakumya purse/plush which has a squeaker. xD You have to spend over 35,000 yen in-store.

Haha, I found that really weird too when I first arrived here. xD You get used to it though. Japanese are polite in most situations. It’s all about social context. It’s so crowded in Tokyo (and being packed together is so common) that pushing and shoving becomes kind of normal and acceptable. People push past each other on the trains, in stations, in stores and queue relentlessly. It’s just what you gotta do if you want to get what you want and where you want.
That, and Japanese are freaking serious about sales. (O_O;) I’m surprised more people don’t get injured. If they did Black Friday here I think it would double Japan’s crime rate. xD The New Year sales are probably the closest equivalent, but thankfully most stores anticipate for it so everything is pretty well-organized to minimize the spilling of blood and the slaughter of tiny children. Smaller stores (such as Closet Child) are not so well-organized…and lolitas don’t care who they trample to get what they want. Survival of the fittest! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ
You’ll find that everyone politely ignores each other whilst trampling though, much like you would ignore other people in a crowded elevator despite having their elbows shoved in your stomach and the ends of their hair tickling your face.
…In conclusion, people are weird, but as the Japanese say, “Shikata ga nai.” - “There’s no other way.”
I’m afraid I’m not sure since I didn’t order any re-reservations online. At a guess I’d say it’ll be sooner than August, so the confirmation emails are more likely to be right. They may not have updated the webpages. I can’t say for sure though, sorry.

Hello, it was definitely one of the busier releases. I was there for about 4 and a half hours and I had a medium sort of number. I’ve no idea how long people with extremely high numbers had to wait. The queue of customers before opening was so long that I couldn’t see the end of it.
Yeah, everyone was going for navy first and it sold out so fast. I’m not sure how fast the navy sailor JSK sold out, but I reckon it was within the first 15 or 20 customers. It’s so sad they don’t stock more! (;_;) It was fun though and there were some lovely outfits. Next on the bloodbath list is CDC. ;)

Sure. :) A campaign in Japan is basically any special sale. In the case of Closet Child, they have two types of campaigns. One type is a general reduction in prices of certain items for an extended period.However, their most popular campaigns are when they release a whole bunch of rare dresses on a particular date.
They specify a date (usually a Saturday) and then everybody must queue up before opening time. Unfortunately, unlike Angelic Pretty releases, it’s first-come-first-served, so you have to go very early (between 4-6am) and wait for hours if you want to be anywhere near first in line. Even worse is, once they do open the doors, people don’t stay in queue form but stampede in, shove and do whatever they can to grab the dress/dresses they want. Due to a lot of Chinese re-sellers attending these events, they’ve started restricting people to one or two dresses per person, but it would be much better for all if they introduced AP’s lottery system for releases. ^^ It’s very difficult to succeed at these campaigns. It’s an interesting experience though. :P
